DR. KRYSTEN A. JACOBS
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Krysten Jacobs was born and raised in the Great White North: Ottawa, Canada. She loves snow and all the winter activities that come with it… so if it’s snowing in Tennessee, God has been listening to her prayers! Dr. Krysten Jacobs was introduced to chiropractic when she was completing her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa and was immediately drawn to the profession. It is the perfect fit to her background in personal training and her own athletic endeavours in soccer, water polo, alpine skiing, cross country running, and Ultimate Frisbee. In 2017, she graduated from New York Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic, where she met her now-husband, Dr. Matthew Jacobs.
In the fall of 2020, Dr. Krysten Jacobs relocated to Tennessee from Maryland with her husband and their beloved labrador, King. A month later, they excitedly welcomed their first child, Luke, into the world. In her spare time, Dr. Krysten Jacobs enjoys cheering for the Toronto Raptors, Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Redblacks, and Tennessee Titans. When she is not treating patients, you can usually find her outside fishing, skiing, running, hiking, and cycling. She also enjoys competing in various road races and triathlons. Being outdoors with her family is her favourite place to be!
Dr. Krysten Jacobs is looking forward to connecting with the community and helping everyone achieve lifelong health!

DR. MATTHEW T. JACOBS
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Matthew Jacobs grew up in rural Maryland on a 50 acre farm where he raised call ducks in his spare time. As a young child, Dr. Matthew always thought he would end up working for his father doing construction or becoming an architect. It was not until Dr. Matthew suffered a neck injury while playing football that he was shown the path of Chiropractic. The Chiropractor that cared for Dr. Matthew’s football injury quickly became his valued mentor and lifelong friend. Dr. Matthew graduated from Towson University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Following in his mentor’s footsteps, he then earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in early 2018 from New York Chiropractic College. It was there that he met his future wife, Dr. Krysten Jacobs. Dr. Matthew and Dr. Krysten relocated to Tennessee in the fall of 2020 with their labrador retriever, King. Shortly after, they welcomed their first child and precious gift from God, Luke. When not treating patients, Dr. Matthew Jacobs enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, watching lacrosse, and archery.
Dr. Matthew Jacobs is happy to be part of a great community and can’t wait to help patients through chiropractic!
